I agree, I believe it's about $$$ because the show is too successful and he is a major player. They'll make him an offer he can't resist and the show will go on. Then, Jon Cryer will threaten to leave.

This is a sitcome that I will thoroughly miss. The humor of each character is refreshing. I have been a loyal viewer and must admit that I will feel "dumped" if and when t&1/2m has retired. I respect the fulfillment that the actors may nourish but my selfishness still wants more. Hopefully, Charlie will at least produce another sitcom with as enriched characters that he has shared with us throughout time. Thank you for filling my life with such crisp, hard, "Real" day to day situations with a great twist of continous humor!

I actually think this show is done...it was very good in the beginning, but Charlie's drunken fool and Alan's no confidence whimp are old. The mother and the maid are the funniest things on this show.
