this statement just after the loss is uncalled for! Its way too soon. Had she waited a few months it might be better received.

He battled pancreatic cancer and she battled breast cancer. Pancreatic cancer is deadly. If he didn't get chemo, he probably would have died sooner. These are two different cancers, how can she suggest that they be treated the same. My father died of pancreatic cancer years ago with no chemo and he lasted for one year bedridden.

Hey Suzanne, do you know what you are saying or, even, care? How can you equate the treatment of pancreatic cancer vis a' vis chemotherapy with the treatment of breast cancer? Each cancer is unique unto its treatment and chemo' did not kill Patrick. He was smoking even up to the time he died, so that did not help in his recovery. My brother Steve had lymphoma and had to take both radiation treatment and chemo. With radiation and chemotherapy, your immune system is weak. Any minor malady, even a cold virus, will cause havoc for the body's defense system.

I believe it contributed to my husband's death, too, and no one
can change my mind on that score! Defend it all you want it is not
the answer to most cancers.

Suzanne, show some sensitivity and let Swayze rest in peace! The man died just days ago and here you are stirring up unnecessary controversy,no doubt upsetting his loved ones. Do you crave publicity that badly these days?!

Whoopy Goldberg: "Patrick was a really good man, a funny man and one to whom I owe much that I can't ever repay. I believe in 'Ghost's message, so he'll always be near." RIP Patrick!
Here I've tried to collect all notable tributes paid to Patrick Swayze by peers:

I don't think so just because
Suzanne Sommers is still around, she's one of the lucky ones. How many cancer patients have they cured with chemo. I think she is just one dumb blonde.

What a moron Suzanne is. If alternative therapies worked Farrah Faucet would be alive. Yes, sometimes they have some success but pancreatic cancer has a much higher fatality rate than breast cancer. If Patrick and his family thought there was any hope from any therapy, im sure they would tried it. Suzannes comments were tacky, ignorant, and insensitive. I just lost whatever respect I ever had for her. Hopefully his family and friends didnt see this nonsense. RIP Patrick. We miss you.

You cannot compared breast cancer with pancreatic cancer. PC is more aggressive. Look at the stats on how many people with PC die versus Breast cancer. He wanted to live so do you think just because he took the chemo he took his life. He fought and there is no proof that doing Suzanne's nutrition diet cures cancer or they would be offering it!

as a survovor myself this is a personal choice I did not have either chemo or radiation against my drs order and am still here. I do believe it is a poison and to recomend it to all cancer paitients is not always needed. makes you wonder

There are many different cancers. Not all cancers are deadly, but most are terminal. Not too many natural things have any affect on cancer, and not many people can afford to run off to Europe to get these treatments.
However, I do believe that detoxing your body is necessary, and beneficial for everyone, and definitely can't hurt, but will it cure the cancer? That is unlikely.
