Warehouse 13 was a good show untill they got the red head. I quit watching Battlestar when it turned into a soap. And District 9 was just pathetic. That story has been done on all the Star Treks and Star Gates. The people who liked it and thought it was fresh don't know SciFi. I'm disappointed the channel changed its name. I'm a woman and I was already watching it. I do like all the vampire fare. It's a shame Moonlight and Blood Ties got cancelled before someone realized the marketability of vampires and that women like them and buy things.

I completely agree with eowwyn. I am upset at the namechange and feel that the people who are supposed to "protect" this genre have in fact sold if out. I am a woman. I love science fiction. While I don't go to conventions or pull out a Star Trek uniform for Halloween, I readily admit to wanting some Vulcan luvin. Syfy better get its act together and fix the name, please.

I for one am a chick and I love science fiction. I find it offensive that studios feel that they have to "disguise" scifi to make it appeal to women. Honestly, Warehouse 13 looked pretty dumb, and I won't be watching Caprica because they're trying to make it soap opera-y. Some of us chicks actually prefer a good story and strong female characters (note: Sookie is not what i would classify as strong female character type)not just soap.
