Director John Hughes DiesNEW YORK (AP) — A spokeswoman for John Hughes says the director of 1980s coming-of-age films like "Sixteen Candles" and "The Breakfast Club" has died in Manhattan.

He will be missed I'm sure.I love all of his movies from Sixteen Candles to Home Alone so I'm glad to know his was the master mind behind some great movies that I grew up loving and still love and will watch til this day.So my condolences to his family. May you rest in peace Mr Hughes.

My Condolences to his family, I loved some of his movies especially the breakfast club, Home Alone and Home Alone 2. Definitely his movies defined a generation as well as gave us plenty of chuckles.
