I concur, I give the edge to Oldman, but its a tough call. Cruise did an outstanding job in that movie...I personally would have loved a sequel (IF the chemistry between Pitt and Cruise could be re-established--otherwise, let the great movie stand alone.)

FYI Grim: Interview with the Vampire was the first in a series of Anne Rice's the Vampire Chronicles. The second one is ALL Lestat.
The third one (Queen of the Damned) was also made into a movie.
My vote goes to Selene in Underworld though.

Gary was my favourite vampire. The film itself wasnt the greatest but i loved his potrayal.
