Outspoken forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht has called for the doctor who allowed Michael Jackson to self-medicate with powerful anaesthesia drugs to be tried for manslaughter.

Of course they should be prosecuted and not just because it's Michael Jackson.
Any doctor who breaks the codes of ethics and breaks the law should be prosecuted, it's just not right.

First rule of medicine is "First do no harm". Giving drugs of the type Michael was using (demerol, diprivan) was neglegent and irresponsible.
Diprivan is NEVER give outside of the hospital/clinic setting. He should be prosecuted. Just because Michael wanted those drugs doesn't mean the Dr. should have given them to him.

^ Exactly, it shouldn't matter how famous someone is or how much they were willing to pay, the doctors should have followed the rules and refused. Stuff like this just makes you lose faith in public services.

Drug dealers with medical degrees don't have ethics. Besides that he was MJ. If no real doctor would give it to him he would have paid someone to get it one or the other. The only thing that would have stopped him was for someone who cared more about him than his money to have him declared incompetent and forced him in rehab.

Okay, let's get real here: Yes, the doctors were wrong and should be prosecuted, but, if it is at all possible, Micheal should be prosecuted, as well (which we know is impossible at this point) after all he sought out the drugs. Everyone is at fault. Move on or this could forever go on because however it turns out, he cannot be brought back.

Imagine any responsible doctor doing something like that? He should be arrested as the drugs
must surely have been, eventually, a contributing factor in his death.

Michael was having high adrenaline before his death. This is the reason he cannot sleep for his blood is rushing allover his body. this happened after strenuous activities like his rehearsals. This is the reason he cannot sleep and resorted to ask for sleeping drugs. Poor Michael. The doctor who prescribed those drugs is liable and his license must be revoked and put him into prison. he stole Michael from us.

This would set a president that would leave actors and musicians alike having to go underground in order to get much needed drugs. It is unfortunate but michael should have trusted someone who had more of an intrest in his health as opposed to his money.

we don't know what REALLY happend, we only read it in newspapers etc. but any doctot knows that the health of a patient is important and NOT the money.if..and i say if..there is someone responseble for MJ's death, he must be arrested and prosecuted. i think it's strange that Michael had so mutch energy for this tour and suddenly he's dead. Michael was so happy to do this..so why should he take the drugs himself?? verry strange i you ask me.

BUT THIS IS REALLY SAD BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE WE CANT TRUST THE DOCTORS. THIS IS A BIG BIG PROBLEM. I KNOW THAT MICHAEL JACKSON AND ANNA NICOLE AND OTHERS THAT WE DONT KNOW ARE ADULT BUT ADDICT IS SOMETHING THAT I THINK ONLY DOCTORS CAN HELP STOP GOING ON BETTER THAN FAMILY AND FRIENDS CAN.
