Who among us is without sin?
Although Michael and I may as well have come from different planets, I always felt a certain sad empathy for him, regardless of the negativity that surrounded him on so many occasions. He was like a little boy lost, looking for love under the glaring spotlight of the world's critism. Now that his time on Earth is over, why come with stories such as 'the spider bite.' Who cares? He most probably should have handled certain aspects of his life differently. Which of us can't say the same? You'll argue that he OWED his fans every intimate detail, they had a right to know. No they didn't! They had the right to enjoy his music, the rest of his personal life was just that, personal. What killed him, just like Princess Diana, was the public's obsession. So, where do we draw the line? I think it's a matter of personal decency and respect. How many of you out there can say that you have that generosity of spirit to give Michael the dignity he deserves in death that he wasn't afforded in life.
