Mariah is still a class act and deserves to be understood as being yet human.I too recognized the vocal performance by her, but in no way did this deminish my thoughts on her professional accomplishment or performance at the memorial service. I think as a vocalist I could have done any better. Apology accepted Mariah, it simply shows your awareness and maturity. I need an apology from Lionel Richie as well!

I thought Mariah was one of the worst acts of the whole memorial service. A little respect, please. Cover the cleavage, this wasn't a Vegas show. Her voice was terrible, even if she was "emotionally overcome". Then the comment was made that she has the guy singing with her because of the range of the music...hmmmm I thought Ms. Carey was supposed to have an 8 octave range at one time. There should be no need for her to have vocal assistance. One more thing--STOP THE STUPID CONDUCTING WITH YOUR HAND WHEN YOU SING! It looks so tacky and unprofessional.

^ Umm, singers have different habits that they do when they sing, it's just what she does. And the actual song has one of her back-up singers singing with her. Is it that bad to have a duet with one of your back-up singers? Are you really gonna be that hateful? Sad...
