I'd nix some of the glitzy locations for some backwoods fun in "Twin Peaks"/"Northern Exposure" country where I'd hang out with moose and lumberjacks. And maybe Lousiana (but only fake fictional Louisiana) for some fast food in "True Blood" locations and maybe Albuquerque to see the part of the desert where Mr. White cooked up some meth in "Breaking Bad". Actually, MY road trip is looking sort of spaced out in geography.
It's comforting to see some Travolta in your trip. Who'd have expected THAT? :)

I like your "choose your own adventure" choices, and I'm glad to see you represented for Pittsburgh. I went to Camp No Be Bo Sco in the early 70's, and had no idea that was Camp Crystal Lake! COOL.
