No! No I say! No stamp no day of mourning! No. I loved Michael but no. He was a human being not a god. We are going to have decades and decades of Michealology so no. Do not spend not one of my tax dollars on such an absurd idea. Any money used for stamps should go toward supplementing the rising cost not special printings...

Al Sharpton is someone I listen very little to. The man is a hate- spewing bigot as is his pal Jesse Jackson. They need to stay away from MJ's family and memorial to avoid any further tainting of his memory.

Mr. Sharpton, you are 100% right The Government and The Media OWES MICHAEL JACKSON BIG TIME. And if they will find a drug abuse in his system it thanks to Media that talanted people cannot be happy. They owe him for what they put this man thru for years and years and they still did not destroy him People LOVE HIM and ALWAYS WILL ! HE WAS SENT to US BY GOD and we did not realise that till God Took him away from us. Yes,the day of his death should become a National Holiday in Memory of Michael Jakcson WE ARE OWE HIM. So much undeservable tourcher when he has done nothing but loved kids, people, world, helping everybody, Blood of Michael Jackson is on Media, Doctors, Procecutor's and That 13 year old sick boy who i do not feel sorry for with his concer he really deserved that after everything Michael has done that what he is got. This man needs to find another hobby other than bashing the rest of the God Given Race(s) across America! Namely the Caucasion race! Wake Up Al... we are in the 21st Century, not back 300+ years! That's first of all...Secondly he can take his racial slurs against other races, and just sit on it! People are reporting what really happened, they did it to Elvis, and Pricess Di, why not Michael. Thirdly, Michael was a great and talented man, but that was it! He didn't walk on water...last I checked...and he was human enough to make many mistakes just like the rest of us in the human race. No I do not think that we should bend any rules just for Michael, what kind of a message would we be sending out to a million other citizens across our nation. OH!...Your a pop icon, and an avid drug abuser, along with many other alegations, let's proclaim this a national holiday just for you, and make a stamp in honor of that as well! WHAT! Give me a break, last I checked that man who held the most ultimate greatness title DID WALK ON WATER and died for our sins thousands of years ago. Give it a rest already...ok he was famous, his music was great, he moved like Fred Astaire, but, Fred had to make the moves first right?! He was a man, let him rest in peace already, and stop dragging out this charade of making him out to be more than what he really was....HUMAN. Not even Elvis or Princess Di had a stamp out that fast for them.
Thank You, now Al...Be Quiet And Go Home.

A Stamp! You got to be kidding! What about the 5 year wait the post office requires? I say if MJ gets a stamp, so should Ed McMahon and Farrah Fawcett, they are as much a part of Pop culture. Al Sharpton should be asking for those stamps as well...or is there something else going on here...Hummmm? This just shows another Raciest able to run their mouth thinking they can bend the rules under the cloak of caring. I say in the immortal words of Carlos Mancia "Back of the Line!"

Hey "The People," I didn't read all your drivel, but I did catch the line about Elvis and Princess Di not having a stamp. Actually the USPS did make an Elvis stamp and even had the country vote on fat or skinny Elvis.

And Princess Di is British, so why would we make a stamp for her?

OK, not a Al Sharpton fan at all. However, he did give a very powerful eulogy for MJ today that I felt was very appropriate. I'm sure MJ will get a stamp when the time is right and we'll probably have the big debate over young Michael or "altered" Michael. NOW, as far as the allegations, he was not found guilty. I watched the trial and it was flawed, the verdict was correct with the exception of giving alcohol to a minor. There was plenty of independent evidence on that charge to warrant conviction. This doesn't mean he was innocent. My experience says that something happened, maybe not what he was accused of, but something. HOWEVER, I think that all of the MJ haters out there should also focus some of that anger on the parents of those children. They pimped out their kids for the presents and money they received. Personally, I'd be a bit suspicious of a star showing up lauding me with expensive things and saying can little Johnny spend the night? Wouldn't you? So, yes, he was a troubled man, but not the worst man to ever achieve greatness. Focus on the positive things so we might move forward. Also, I must wonder if there were so many "other" victims, where are they now? There's nothing to be afraid of at this point. I'm not referring to those under confidentiality contracts either.
