I think the point that Peck was making is that he is trying to make the character new and original, apart from Heath's portrayal. I give him props for taking on such a huge role - I'll be watching tomorrow night.

There will NEVER EVER be another Heath Ledger, HOW DARE they even think of the comparison!? I find that insulting to his name. Heath Ledger was one of the greatest actors of his generation, he is incomparable.

I think nobody can replace Heath. He had a certain look, handsome but not a pretty boy he had that certain voice and what an actor. It is so sad he is gone he would have been the sought after actor. He was so talented. He did many parts, drama, comedy and even as dark as the joker was, there were times when Heath made you chuckle at him. I hate to say there are not many young actors that are as good as Heath Ledger. RIP

^ He looks more like Cillian Murphy to me, who was Scarecrow, although he is hot and Ethan Peck is not.
