It's rather sad that some one like the congressman is such a disdain and distatseful man. He is right about paying homage to those her serve our country and we do. But this man is apparently unable to respect the family and friends of the late Michael Jackson and make tasteful comments. I would say keep your opinions to yourself.

You cannot compare Michael Jackson to Elvis, its apples and oranges.
No one ever accused Elvis of being a petafile, Elvis did not wear womens cloths and dangle babies off a balcony either. Elvis never has plastic surgery and no one ever nick named him Whacko Elvis. MJ was a freak, and i wish the media would stop propping him up as something great when he was just a freak who could sing and dance a little.

The State never brought charges in the first one because they didn't have a strong enough case. The second one he was found not guilty which means that the Jury was willing to grant him the benefit of the doubt. Him settling out of court is not an admission or even that great of an indication of guilt. Maybe he just wanted it all to go away and he had the money to make it happen, and consider this .... Would a reasonable parent be willing to be bought off if the child was really molested? . Not me! Anyone TOUCHED on of my kids no amount of money would buy me off!
Michael also gave large sums of money to these kid's and their families to help them out....one Mom actaully lied about medical bills to get money.....this is one of the people who later claimed her son was molested.
In all likelihood he probably did not actually molest anyone. He was a child trapped in a man's body. I don't think he had the capacity to do something like this. It was probably more like two ten year olds sharing a bed. Of course its unorthodox but I would be surprised if any legit "molesting" went down.
Let he who is without sin cast the first stone Mr. Congessman...ie how clean is YOUR backyard?

Just to be fair, I went into the smoking gun and read everything about MJ molesting kids this morning. Boy, what an eye opener. Sadly enough, now there is no doubt in my mind that he DID molest these kids.
I too enjoyed his music and creativeness in my younger years but can not abide with all the Sainthood that has been bestowed upon him now. He was and always will be a pedophile.

Maybe he could have voiced these very important thoughts while Jackson was alive and could verbally (or legally) defend himself. @ user183. You don't know much about Elvis do you? He was also a phenomenal performer...an icon, a giant...much like MJ in that respect. He also had very public, very serious iissues with prescription drug addiction which directly led to his death (similarity?). He had a penchant for VERY young girls ...his ex wife Priscilla was 14 when he begin his pursuit of her (in what state is THAT legal?)and was quoted as saying young girls were "easier to control". There were also rumors of bisexuality. Elvis was human being with some remarkable gifts and some terrible demons....as was MJ. I loved Elvis' music and movies and his moves.....I loved MJ's music, moves and videos. They were PEOPLE....and people who couldn't live ordinary lives...they lived in fishbowls. I can't condone some of the things they did nor should anyone but at this time I give my props to them as the music giants they were. Let history never forget THAT.

Yes...Elvis did marry Priscilla when she was 18....but involvement with her at 14 qualifies him as a pedophile (please note the spelling, there is no such word as petafile). Elvis was back in a time when celebs were much more protected than they are now....much less invasion into their private lives went on.
When did MJ wear women's clothes? He wore lots of flashy, sequined glittery clothes ....oh wow! Just like Elvis!
MJ was accused publically twice that I am aware of....once didn't go to court because there simply wasn't any evidence (you actually need proof you know...not JUST accusations) and the second time DID go to court but he was acquitted because there wasn't enough evidence to prove any wrongdoing. Get it?
I am not really "debating" you on anything....I simply appear to be having a battle of wits with an unarmed man(?).
