You know people think that it's okay to crack the MJ jokes, they obviously have way too much time on their hands and have nothing better to do, if it was anyone else they'd keep a civil tongue in their heads.
Anyway to remember this song and to think he had an addiction makes me sad beyond words and wishes that someone would have been a friend to him at that time, because people had nothing better to do than to abuse the f**k out of him mentally and emotionally.
I'm sure MJ isn't the only one that's gone through that people just chose to be ignorant.
And yes you can throw back your negative comments to me or reply to my comment, but before you waste your breath I DON'T CARE.
It's alright for someone to be negative to another but when it gets back to the person, it's not nice is it?

I agree with your atatement about people trash-talking MJ, but really, anyone as monumentally famous as him will always have detractors.
As to the song and whether or not it reflected on him personally I do believe the old saying that "Art imitates life". Was it true? Only he knows for sure.

look the man was brutalized by his father as a kid,so his mind set was off at that point,you know like not having a father but worse,because he did.so he went thru life scared.and was deprived childhood to boot.he donated over 300 million to charity probably helped some of you haters.he could not live a normal life or have normal thoughts!a kid in a mans body.famous,rich,loneliness.its not uncommon for people with fame as well as most of you broke haters to do drugs,many stars as well as less fortunate people have gave their lives to the drug!but he has touched a nation with his song,his reality world was his music and fans,and he was the best at that.he has a proven track record.let he who's without sin cast the first stone!if it was me or one of you haters nothing would be said or heard of.he is a blessing from GOD and loved by the world,the only reason you haters hate is because you are not loved by anyone and you hate yourselves.you guys get a life because your problem is you don't have one.

I discovered this the other night & to be honest, it chilled me when I read the demerol bit. The whole song seems like a cry for help given recent news. However, it could be in relation to his problems after the 1st allegations in 1993 which maybe did not resurface until 2003-2005.

The words were sang too fast. It is difficult to know some words from the song. After listening to it as many times as i can, being an educator, some of the words written for the lyric in this website were incorrect. However the general message we get from this poem or so call lyric was the fact MJ portraying resentment to some people being unreliable in the first two paragraphs. Next he admitted of having or getting swine all down the line and hating the guts of whoever was he referring to in the lyrics. Down the line could mean subordinate, people working for you. Continuing to acknowledge " a heart burst, he want to burst baby, another drug baby,you don't desire" Here he knows the effect of drugs and seem to know an intention to foul play. A heart burst could mean heart stop, not functioning and ending to death. He continue with soft intonation almost consoling him to trust someone. "Trust in me, put all your.." Later he gives a statement " you give me morphine".Informing the audience that he knew he was given morphine. MJ layered the background with, a knock on the door, a lady voice advising " You heard what the doctor says, a mock hahaha" Also to tell his fans that he was actually advice to follow what the doctor said, " take it ,you will feel..." He continue writing in the lyrics," You got to please baby , give them the face b..,they hate your race baby, you are not a liar" MJ admited to himself. He continues with resentment, ".....your dogs are X@@##! baby"....

Dogs are referred to as man's best friend, here it could probably mean MJ had many so called friends(leeches) of it on the contrary they were X@@##!. They somehow made him physically and mentally sick by torturing him into believing he needed drugs. "you make me sick baby, you are drops of trouble." He claims in his song," I got your work, you're just a rival." He also mention "Just of late baby, your dogs are X@@##! baby." He expresses them as his foe. "...you are throwing sht, so undesirable."
Again he came to a part where he soften his intonation as he sing,"trust me ,just in me,put all your trust in me. YOU GIVE ME MORPHINE." These phrases shows someone asking him to put trust on the person, but then again as if to be in disbelief he was given morphine. Followed by MORPHINE was sung in a growling voice. To depict its danger or devil.Then he start gently describing the process he was going through. The procedure of how he was being administered the injection. What was said to him. The most disturbing word was " I won't convert you, what does it mean, he was not yet a muslim, so what conversion could happen and was promised to MJ that it would not happen. MJ in his song also seems to be surprise at the fact the person (he) was taking Demoral to inject him. I don't think the lyrics" OH God he is taking Demoral." here refers to MJ himself. MJ conttinues in his poem describing two women who tried to convice the other not to cry at the situation , to remeber ......

One woman might be sad of the situation. He might be feeling frustrated with his experience. People around him the medical team a liar making him sick. He repeated the lullaby, "trust in me, trust in me, put your trust in me, you are doing Morphine:( the ending of the song is a repetition of MJ making statement that he knew people are sitting not doing anything, just talking about his situation, could be in his home or hospital and give him morphine. I first knew about this song after the Brashir interview. I became extremley worried after hearing it. I thought he would be ok bc of all the people in his life. Never thought that he wouldn't be taken care of properly. Thought it would have been taken care of immediatley. I think roslee saw much like I did in these lyrics. I also think they should be investigating these lyrics with everything else. This, I believe from day 1 was all about him letting people know. He went to rehab once, and I believe with him, it was, and would have been 100% successful. He was a perfectionist, and not into failing. I fully 100% believe he was taken advantage of by a greedy medical circle, was given addicted drugs unknowingly that he had recovered from, tried to trust he was being cared for, and was taken advantage of only for money. Addicted Michael provides income for ongoing drugs. Hmmmm, wonder who these two woman were, could they have lived in the home? Michael NEVER would have willingly in a non-addicted mind lived life like that with his children. They ment EVERYTHING to him. This was his craft, as well as his form of communicating. I believe this was his message to the world, if just this one song. I hope it is investigated for the sake of his children. I hope these people are fully prosecuted, swiftly, and go to jail. Not just pending licences while still practicing. No more money train for them now. Biggest punishment has been loosing Michael. Wonder if their greed had thought.

the nurse and his doctors and laywers that got on TV and told thing about him that are patient, laywer or doctor privilage. If they needed to tell something they should have went to the law and told them, not go on CNN and tell them, and CNN shouldn't have reported it because his children will have to hear it all their lives. Joe Jackson has always controlled most of that family
and Kathern should divorse him to get the children and part of his estate or let one of the sisters or Diana Ross have them and joe would be out of the picture. Joe will at sometime use the children for his new record company, all he has every done is look out for his on interest. I think the Judge should make it where Joe are any family member can not
let joe use them in anyway. If they want to be entertainers there are plenty of other companys that would hire them,but Diana Ross should mangage them.

As regards to this song Morphine, it's a typical nonsensical song that obviously was on his mind when he wrote it, nothing wrong with that especially coming from eccentric people like Michael but could be making a point that either he is taking it or someone is giving it to him.
I remember John Lennon writing similar lyrics on drugs and nonsensical gibberish stuff like others before them.
I must admit, it is the first ever lyrics I have seen of Michael Jacksons that points to drugs.
I know alot of his lyrics were of unhappiness with his life and relationships but then again alot were absolutely beautiful with his humanatarian stuff being there on top.
I can't say I like this song and it does bring goosebumps to me listening.
I am quite sure he has lots more lyrics locked away that we don't know of and never will unless once more his family get hold of them and decide to sell them to make money out of him over again.
We shall never know.
He used to write down all this stuff at the time it was in his head which is why he was such a great writer, he was a natural artistic that had so many fantasies in his world that most us writers die for.
The more fantasy world you live in the better writer you become.
I have to do it the hard way to become an author/writer and be trained in most of what I write but thats the difference.
Michael Jackson has always been an inspiration to us all but unfortunately he got very little praise for what he had put into this world.
