I can say from experience that someone who is abusing prescription painkillers and sedatives are not necessarily the same people who would consider themselves willing to use drugs "recreationally". I learned in rehab that most people who turn to opiates are truly in pain, emotionally and physically. This is often from a chemical imbalance and/or situational depression, as well as PTSD and other trauma. Someone who doesn't have fortune and fame would probably eventually resort to street drugs like heroin, after getting cut off from every doctor around, and then they would fall to the level of lowly street addict. But someone like Michael Jackson could call his Doctor Feel Goods... and never have to feel like a real addict. Unfortunately, that is what kills people like Michael Jackson, Anna Nicole Smith, Heath Ledger, etc.

The Hollywood Tragedies. So sad to note LisaLaggrrr that You are RIGHT. I will keep on PRAYING for the sobriety of our Hollywood Legions. "A World Without Heroes," Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Lou Reed and Bob Ezrin, and was originally recorded and released this song on their 1981 album Music from "The Elder". CHER recorded and released it later on her 1991 "Love Hurts" CD. Originally titled "Every Little Bit of Your Heart", the lyrics were changed in order to fit the concept of the album. To be without heroes would be a dismal place indeed.
