An attorney (and 20-year friend of the family) said today that he suspected he was still taking prescription drugs and warned that something like this would happen. Believe me, the coroner and toxicologist will do a fine tooth examination on him.

Micheal Jackson was a real nice man but he kept bleaching himself which gave him skin cancer so all I have to say to the family is I can feal your pain when I heard Micheal was dead all I could say was WOW so very deeply sorry and the thing is I was beggenig to like him over a month a go so all I have to say is SORRY

He had suffered some pretty serious injuries over his life....broken back, broken leg and of course, the infamous burns to his head. He was apparently on pretty big gun narcotics for the residual pain from these ....an oerdose would come as no surprise to me and in fact, it was my first thought on learning he'd suffered a cardiac arrest.
I suspect he was treating emotional/spiritual pain as much or more than physical pain. Reports say his family and friends had been trying to help him to no avail. Kinda like Elvis I guess.

Whatever the cause is for his death doesn't matter right now. The point is that HE IS DEAD.
