Evan, with all due respect, this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. My God! The blatant racism didn't bother you? Did you think Mudflap and Skids were "funny" and not the worst of every African American stereotype from the last 200 years? "Expectations"? Yeah, I expect movies in the year 2009 to not play out like a minstrel show. Sheesh!

I see I've reached the mecca of Transformers 2 discussions. Racist bots ? Right - this from the director who cast 2 leading roles in Bad Boys 1 & 2 who just happen to be African American. Surely Speilberg & Hasbro are on board to sell more stuff through stereotypes as well. Lighten up folks and enjoy the flick for what it's about - bots and action and kids like bots and action. Simple really.
