On Monday night, Letterman said his joke about one of Palin's daughters being "knocked up" by Alex Rodriguez can't be defended.
He said the joke referred to 18-year-old Bristol Palin, not her 14-year-old sister Willow. But Letterman said it's his responsibility that people believed that he intended to target Willow-----------------

The fact you wanted to slam an 18 year old unwed mother instead of her 14 year old sister. Great apology. There was never a need for this statement to ever had been made in the fisrt place.
Your second apology is just as crass as your initial joke. You've made it quite clear. You are an a$$.

Many a comedian has the Foot in Mouth complaint. At least they
apologize. What is done is done
and that type of joke is in really bad taste and in most cases really hurtful to the one
who is the butt of the joke.

When did it become o.k. for a 62 year old with a knocked up girlfriend to make jokes about an unwed teenage mother???? I guess after 5 years and he finally marries his baby's mama. The initial joke was offensive! The first apology was hollow and insincere. And the final apology was just as offensive as the initial joke.
One of these men should go. Either Dave Letterman or Les Mooves
