Nice interview. Love the answer re: what he learned from his dad and Mike Shannon, and very little having to do with baseball. STL baseball fans have been lucky over the years--Harry Carey, Jack Buck, Joe Buck, Mike Shannon.
Very dry sense of humor, but plays well in the taped segments and even some of the commercials he's done over the years.

Naturally I'm biased because of the laws of St. Louis...but FANTASTIC interview! He's such a great guy. They are such a great family. Do you find it easier or more difficult to interview an interviewer?

i never understood the play by play criticism of buck, that he lacks emotion. given the choice between buck calling a play or chris berman having an orgasm over a solo home run in the 3rd inning of a phillies-astros game in may, i'll take buck.

I've had a theory for several years that Joe Buck and Brian Williams are brothers who were seperated at birth. Kind of a more talented version of the brothers Gumbel. I'm a huge fan of Joe Buck, will definitely watch his show. Great interview, Mike.

Really enjoyed the show... But, someone should have told Artie Lange he wasn't there for a celebrity roast of Joe Buck or to promote Howard Stern -- Paul Rudd and Jason Sudeikis barely got a word in during the segment..
