I agree with the writer. They have already remade films that
should never have been touched
and in doing so they ruined the
original cast's interpretation. I have never seen a remake that
was as good as the original!

It's not that big a leap from Shane Black (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) to McDonagh - only McDonagh's more genius.

Grim, unfortunately it was only a matter of time I suppose. Sigh, and I thought I chose films that would be too outlandish to ruin with a recast or a remake.
