It seems lately every foreign country she visits, she manages to insult them. She was recently somewhere in Asia and they threatened to ban her from their country. She profusely apologized--not sure of the outcome. You would have thought getting paid $1.5 million to emcee that affair, she would have first done her homework.

I had the displeasure of working with Ms Stone at her house (installing a large mosaic portrait of herself in a poolhouse) and found her to be entirely self centered, seemingly bitter, and completely unreasonable for nearly every trying moment of the two days I spent in her home. She does not care at all about anyone but herself and made that perfectly clear... this episode I expect is completely reasonable in her mind.

I heard about the Asian thing too. Why would they pay her for another public appearance?
I think because they're STUPID. People being paid $1.5 million for that is ridiculous, especially one with well-documented bizarre behavior.
