good question mike, ive always wondered that myself. most of the journalists who interview him must not be OG fans of the show

Dude, any casual Saved By The Bell fan knows that the first season was in Indiana and then they moved to Bayside. This is anything but a revelation...that's HILARIOUS that Zach never even realized this. How high were ya there buddy? Or were you too transfixed by Kelly Kapowski to notice?

@Marcus Garvey @Tom Sizemore: I know, I can't believe no one had ever asked Mark-Paul that question before. Though, I 'm not sure *everyone* knows that. By the way: Super nice guy.

@Marcus Garvey: Well, to be fair, that was one season out of all the seasons of that character. Add in all the other projects he's done ... I'm actually releived he's not as nerdy as I am for knowing that. It's not like he forgot "NYPD Blue" or "Raising the Bar" are set in New York.

Well done. I would have thought at least one other SBTB fanboy would have asked him that question before. I guess they're more concerned with whether he and Tiffani-Amber Thiessen hooked up in real life.

sooo glad you asked the important Saved by the Bell question. And weird he's never thought of it before. Next I want an interview with Hayley Mills asking what happened to Miss Bliss

@rpa1973: I bet he gets that a lot. Because of that I tried to avoid SBTB all together. I'm not a "Saved by the Bell" fanboy, but the Indiana/California question always fascinated me so I had to ask.

What if the reunion just ended up being with the original class--I bet they could get some of them to show up.
What, no Bob Golic questions?

I dug the interview. He seems like a pretty likable guy. My one fault with the few episodes of "Raising the Bar" that I've seen is that the show seems a little proud of itself, and it overplays that the main characters are just always fighting for the right causes. Zack gave some insightful views of the cast. I've give the show another try this season. Good Job Mike!
One Question though.... Is the reason that you referred to SBTB as "that show" because of some agreement to be able to interview him?

I hear the the Indiana tourism board just checked Mark-Paul off their list to be their celebrity spokesperson. "What the f*** is in Indiana!?"

@VivianCostello: Not at all, no agreements. That was my personal decesion because, I'm sure, Mark-Paul gets enough of that and I really did want to focus on his new project. On "Raising the Bar," I think, like he said, they only had 10 episodes to work with and this season there will be more time for the show to breath.

@Sinbad: That's kind of funny. Just find all those "Good Morning, Miss Bliss" students.

@rob who had a broken foot: Okay, that made me laugh.

I didn't see SBTB until they were in high school and saw the earlier stuff AFTER that. This is the first I am hearing about the show in Indiana and it cracked me up!

Ha! That was so well done. I've gotta give "Raising the Bar" a chance this season. The Fallon show hasn't really found it's footing yet but I do enjoy the SBTB cast member cameos. Looking forward to Mark-Paul's appearance.

You know I never really planned to give the show a chance, but I think I will try it out now. I've always been a fan of Mark-Paul. The Saved by the Bell question was classic! Great interview, Mike.
