I agree with Clay that Adam's version of Ring of Fire totally reeked. Perhaps he is right in what he says. Let's see where Kris goes from here. Only time will tell.

Clay really needs to keep his comments to himself. He never impressed me. I was so glad when Rueben beat him out. It's not like he has made himself out for the flaming popularity contestant. He was good, I'll give him that but he has no right to judge without being judged himself. He got more publicity about fathering a child as a gay man than his own skills as a music artist. SHUT UP CLAY!

I always liked Clay Aiken, and I agree with him l00% about Adam. Only a few songs that Adam sang ever made any sense to me, and his rendition of Ring of fire was very disappointing. I am glad Kris won, he reminded me a little of Clay, I like the "crooner" type anyway - don't hear many of those anymore.

clay ended up just where simon said he belonged-on broadway. and he handled that mediocore at best.at least adam said he was comfortable with who he was. when you came out you acted like the whole world would be shocked.everyone knew you were gay but you. oh, my friend went to one of your shows.and when the show was over she said her ears were "aiken" but not for more clay.stick to broadway. alot of has beens can make it on the great white way.

It does sound like Clay is jealous and/or reacting emotionally. He isn't being fair. I don't even watch Idol but I've seen both Kris and Adam, and they are both talented singers. Clay's just probably missing his day in the spotlight.
