Ol' Jim Halpert has a fire in his belly. I can hear some passion in those words.
I look forward to the movie--I am a Maya Rudolph fan and think she will do great crossing over onto acting. (Just stay away from the Luke Wilson projects)
Good interview.

@Sinbad: You heard correctly. It's obvious how much he cares for this project.

so you guys talked about the sox and manny but you didn't ask him if that bruins' playoff beard he's sporting in the movie is itchy?

John sounds like a cool guy. Jim Halpert is a great character. I'd buy him a beer.

@Tom Sizemore: He was extremely nice. One of those guys that after you talk to him you just want nothing but success for him. But, hey, I like beer, too...

I like to think I'm the Jim Halpert of my office setting, but in reality I think I'm really the Todd Packer.

What's cliche about 'Thunder Road'?

@Scraps: David Koechner was on an Adam Carolla podcast a couple of weeks ago. He's going to be on a new show with Kelsey Grammer. I really miss him on The Office.

I'm not saying 'The Office' is losing its fastball, but a Todd Packer sighting would help bring the funny immensely!

@grimoneus: No, not at all, Wallace was that amazing (he killed himself last year after a battle with depression). He's frustrating to read because he's brilliant but unless you share his brilliance (I don't) it's hard to operate on his level of thinking. And, yes, John is the definition of a great person to interview.

Great interview. He's so likeable, looking forward to the new flick. Not a big fan of Idiocracy?

This kid is going places, deservingly so. He's got good looks, charm, humor and charisma. A new Jimmy Stewart type.
