A lot of who survives and who doesn't has to do with proper guidance...both parental and professional. Many of these young stars have parents who seem more concerned with garnering their own spot in the limelight than they are with helping their kids cope with the stress of being a teen let alone a teen growing up in the fishbowl environment of Hollywood.

You really have to admire starlets like Candace, Drew, Hilary, and yes, even Miley....all of them have really come through stardom exceptionally well! Of the ones who didn't, I wonder how many of them have poor (or non-existent) relationships with their parents?
