Sounds like good advice to me. "Ghosts" in particular seems to be based on a trite concept.

I think Matthew McConaughey is one of the sexiest guys in Hollywood and probably one of the nicest but unfortunately he continues to make the ridiculous romantic comedies. I want him to do some drama, something more challenging. These days you have to be more selective about how you spend your money and so I'm not going to spend it on yet another predictable romantic comedy. On the other hand, I can't wait to see Wolverine. It looks awesome! :)

I'll more than likely see "Ghost of Girlfriends Past" - think he's a pretty good actor. I really enjoyed "Failure to Launch" lightweight comedy but one of my favorites, on a real serious note, is "A Time to Kill" a real tearjerker.
