Sally Field Seeks Romance But Doesn't Want To Date Really Old Men

Sally Field is terrified of dating again now her youngest child has left home for college because the men considered to be of an appropriate age are all wrinkly retirees. The 59-year-old star divorced second husband Alan Greisman in 1993 and was subsequently too busy raising her children to think about her social life.

I think the presumption of age is archaic.... Sally could, very well, engage in a meaningful relationship with any man (of any age) who shares similar feelings/attitudes.. it's not how old we are (per se), it's how old we feel! Emotional maturity & a sense of adventure are not mutually exclusive.
