By the way, I'm in the camp that the pilot and first few episodes were terrible, then the show does a 180, and becomes a smart and very funny comedy.

@Sinbad: I think you're being a bit too harsh on the first episodes. "Terrible" is a pretty strong word. I think they were good, then the show hit a new level and became something special.

And, yes, Scott's an interesting guy and gave well thought out answers which always makes my job eaiser.

I'm going by memory here. Put it this way, I know I stopped watching the show for a couple of weeks until I was told, "no, it's really funny", and I gave it another chance. One of the funniest shows on TV now. And I'm not someone who would've been "below" the level of humor, or anything like that.
What if Kath and Kim suddenly became the funniest show on television? What would your reaction be to that?
