HeroesAfter a much-praised first season, NBC's Heroes took a tumble, then a dive, and though producers desperately tried to resuscitate the show, there didn't seem to be any signs of life.

Kill off NATHAN??? Nathan had the potential to be absolutely fascinating from day one. In the capable hands of Pasdar, he still does. Killing off Nathan ends any chance of repairing the damage done to Nathan and Peter's relationship, not to mention the fact that the writers never dealt with Nathan's anger that Peter SHOT him; that's inexcusably shoddy writing. How do you script one brother shooting another and then simply not deal with it? No wonder Heroes is facing canellation. I agree that the main cast should be trimmed, but cut the dead weight: Hiro, Mohinder, or Claire. You heard me--kill off whining, bratty, useless Claire. What use is healing as your only power? A Thelma and Louise story? With Claire? She's too busy berating HRG and being ungrateful. Nathan isn't your "real father," you brat. She contributes nothing constructive to the story while her death would create it by re-energizing both Noah and Nathan--thus freeing Nathan to remember that he has two sons and deal with one of them possibly manifesting. Better yet, get rid of Claire, Hiro the perpetual child, AND Mohinder the world's most gullible scientist. Focus on character over plot. Focus on Petrelli backstory and more on Matt's potential abilities.

Oh, wow. These suggestions are made in jest, yes? Well, aside from #10 because it's true. Kill Nathan? Get Claire another BFF? AH. Nathan has so much potential as a character. And seriously, changing Sylar's gender? Is this a late April Fool's joke? Insisting yet another reinvention for his character? Good lord. This article talks about how many reprieves Nathan has received yet Sylar has received that and more. He continues to gain more and more power, making him virtually unstoppable. He makes no progression as a character, acting exactly the same as he did in early season 1 - and still, we are promised "more layers" in upcoming seasons. I suppose these additional "layers" will override the ones previously made, which have overrode the ones previous to those. Ugh. No. And I disagree with more saving the world crap.
What I would prefer to see from this show is solid characters with an increased focus on their development as well as explorations of their dynamics with other characters. Turning characters into nothing but plot pawns isn't terribly interesting. Death threats and shock killings are so old, done, and alienating.
Yes, this article must be hoax-esque. But I do miss Molly.

Typical of a woman bitching about age. Brea grant is 27, and probably flattered that you think she looks like someone out of high school.
And drop the age racism; older man younger woman - that's what God intended ;)

Yeah, I bet Milo's really glad he tapped Hayden now. Now he has to stay there and listen when she nags at him because they work together. Older man, younger woman? Only if he has lots and lots of money and he's going to die soon. I'm supposed to look at his bald head, have his brats and escort him into dotage if he's poor?
