Hello, Michaela. Now, back to my point. "Bachelor Party" was left off the list. This flick is a classic. "Bachelor Party" is definitely ... Must See TV.

Apollo 13?
Saving Private Ryan?
Splash?
The Green Mile?
but I guess there wasn't room for all of his great films, especially his best of all of them, even better than Gump.
But as I recall, THERE'S NO CRYING IN BASEBALL, so I'll get over it not making the list.
(and you're right on, The Money Pit blew.)

Hanks has made some good films..his politics are deplorable..Not saying that movie stars should not express their rights but do it so poorly.

How could they possibly leave out The Green Mile and A League of Their Own? Just about every movie he's made is great--except for the ones mentioned above eliminating The Money Pit because I liked that too.

I am in love with Tom Hanks so it is difficult for me to be objective. In the Best List, I think Philadelphia should have been there. In the Worst, I agree that The Ladykillers was awful. Even I could not watch that one. Joe and the Volcano was not all that bad. Honorable Mention: Turner and Hooch, for being a classic "Tom Hanks is loveable, funny and adorable" and also for the love of animals theme. It was pretty much universally panned, but I could watch that film over and over again because it is quintessential Tom Hanks. I liked the drooling dog, too. This was a tear-jerker as well as being hilarious. I enjoyed The Money Pit, in spite of Shelley Long, of whom I am not a fan. She and Tom lacked chemistry. How about Sleepless in Seattle, Road to Perdition, The Green Mile? Tom has done so many stellar works it is impossible to rate him in the way the author did.

Marcus, I agree with you that Saving Private Ryan was/is fantastic. Tom totally got into character and the WWII historical facts and essences were spot-on.

Marcus, I liked Saving Private Ryan very much but it was not a Tom Hanks film per se. It was more of an ensemble work.
