Ok, I guess it's just me, but.....I don't get all the praise for Adam Lambert! I've hated his performances the last two weeks. Last night, he sounded off key several times and he looked like an alien. Am I the only one who feels this way?

I still think this group is one of the most talented since the show's inception. Megan is having trouble being true to herself, but I hope she will hang in there for another week to show what she can really do. I could not believe Danny ignored Smokey's advice. Where did he get off? I am surprised the judges did not call him on it. I think Adam will emerge the victor. I loved his performance last night. But, with all due respect to sblock11, I can see how some folks might not like his style. I think Michael should go tonight. He seems happy to be in the Top Ten and not so concerned about winning. His performance last night was not that good.

I'm finally ready to admit that Megan isn't as good as I first thought. She's not going anywhere this week, though...Scott and Michael were clearly worse than her.
As for Adam...I can also see why people don't like him, but last night's performance was awesome, and it was the only one I'll remember.

Well said Andrew. Much better recap than whoever was writing these before you. I agree that Allison had the best performance of the nite. Adam was less annoying than usual, and while his voice is great, he overdoes (or underdoes in this case) the arrangement on every song. He took out most of the things I like about Tracks of my Tears just to indulge himself. And even though Megan wasn't good last nite, I voted for her 56 times.

Paula, must have been on her way to the prom after the Idol show was over. I thought last night show was one of the best that I have seen in a long while. I just loved Anoop's additon of Ooh Baby Baby, Lil Rounds was fantastic and based on the song I did not think she was hollering at all. Allison was very much the hit of the night. Adam was too off key and destroyed the song. I would love to see a repeat of last night show. I was very much entertained by Anoop, Lil Rounds, Allsion and the 1st guy to perform. I even liked the guy that did not take Smokey's advise. He would have been better off. But I think he was too nervous to go out of his comfort zone.
