Adam Lambert is an excellent singer, but that performance was terrible. It is pretty hard to believe that your little poll seems to reflect an overall approval of his performance. Michael Sarver needs to go home. He is no good, and Alexis actually has potential.

Adam Lambert just blows my mind. His version or Robichaux version of Ring of Fire was in a league of it's own. It was a combination of Jim Morrison meets Robert Plant meets Moody Blues meets Pink Floyd; they all drop acid and resurrect "The King" to perform it, a young Elvis Presley. Well done son. How about some Smokey Adam?

As someone who was NOT a Lambert fan (Kris Allen is my favorite) I can tell you that I LOVED his version of Ring of Fire! I would buy tickets to the tour, just to hear him sing it Live - THATS how much I liked it.

Adam Lambert has better vocal technique of probably anyone ever on AI. He did a brilliant take on a song, one that has been covered by over 80 artists. Adam is what makes this show interesting this year. Without him it would be so boring. We are watching a superstar in the making. Do you think anyone will remember any of the other contestants names in 2 years, 5 years. I guarantee we will remember Adam.

Adam Lambert will win American Idle! He's the most original and best talent they have ever had on the show! His voice is like NO other! I predict he will be a Icon in music. He has it all a great performer, style and a outrageous voice to go with it! His concerts will sell out in hours, trust me on this! And who cares aboout his sexual preference. What the hell is going on here? Six straight people making their first comment ever on this site and all in strong support of Adam Lambert...its very fishy. Also, two of these posts (consecutively) used the word "icon" in their description of Adam Lambert. This feels a lot like when restaurants (or any other business) go on yelp and give themselves good reviews. The overwhelming support for Adam Lambert in this poll just doesn't make any sense either. I don't question Adam's talent, but that was clearly a love it or hate it performance, and there is just no way that 80% love it. Your blog is fishy Phil McRae.

The reason so many people comment on Adam Lambert is because he really is all that. Adam has that glow that prevents you from taking your eyes off him when he performs.The only other performer who had that was Elvis. No kidding. Many guys hated Elvis. Their reaction was no different than what I see happening now.Adams perfect pitch and extreme good looks put him in the same class as the "king". Expect to hear alot more about Adam Lambert, me I like it.

Well could it be there is finally a reason to watch AI..I am not an AI fan i could care less really but when i finally heard ADAM LAMBERT sing on the net and then watched him ..Im hooked...say what u want but the only reason i read this article is because im hooked on adam lambert he is UNique and fun to watch and a voice that no one can touch

I joined this site so that i could comment on this post. I also used my real name so i am not another one being accused of being "fishy" for supporting Adam.
I am a 53 year old STRAIGHT woman , who LOVES Adam. Just wanted to add that for those of you that are on a "need to know sexual preference basis". I also enjoyed his version of Ring of fire. His vocals were amazing. I was a huge David Cook fan last year ( still am ) and did not think that anyone could compare to him . I was wrong. Adam goes above and beyond.
As far as being gay ? I do not understand what anyones sexual preferences have to do with their singing capabilities. I have never seen any contestant get up on stage and announce theirs before an audience. Didnt think it was a requirement ?
Wether Adam wins on American Idol doent matter to me. He will continue to be amazing , and this is one Adam fan that will being waiting in the wings to buy his music.
