I'm sorry to hear about this, but how did she get away with not wearing a helmet? I thought it's the law in Canada to wear a helmet while skiing? Or maybe that's just a provincial law.. but where I go skiing, they MAKE you wear a helmet, even if you're an adult. Especially since she was a beginner skier, she should have worn a helmet. This could have definately been prevented.
