I know I am a little skeptical
but I think the Oscar should be
put away in a Safety Deposit Box at a
Bank until the daughter is old enough to appreciate what it means. It would be a wonderful
target for thieves and then she
would never really know how talented her father was if it
was stolen, would she? In this
day and age nothing is sacred to those who covet what someone
else has for their pleasure, be
it drugs or a collection or even its monetary value. It can't be pawned but there is always some unscrupulous person
out there who would pay big bucks for his Oscar. I am not paranoid as this is what our world has come to.
