You need to adjust your sense of humor. You said "nothing lives up to potential." I said "Dutch's first post doesn't live up to potential."
Do you not get the joke?

Sounds like Idiocracy ripped off the plot-line from Woody Allen's 1970's hysterical comedy Sleeper. In that film, Woody's character awakes from a lengthy cryogenic sleep and encounters a futuristic world full of idiotic, follow-the-flock and do not have an original thought people. Sound familiar? Dutch, you always live up to your potential. What would we do without you?

I enjoyed reading the comments
that went back and forth between
Dutch48 and Squints. You are great!
Back to the subject. I really
enjoyed I Am Legend with Will Smith. For some reason it caught my attention from the first scene until the last. I
rarely watch movies like this
one as my tastes are quite different from that type of story. Good Movie all the way around. Will Smith was his usual highly talented self.

There are so many, but the one movie that failed miserably in living up to the monstrous hype was..."The Quantum of Solace."

Everything you wrote about Dune was awful, and wrong. First of all, Dune is not a "straight forward science fiction story." And second, how the hell can you call Dune a blend of Star Wars and anything? DUNE PREDATES STAR WARS BY TWELVE YEARS. GEORGE LUCAS RIPPED DUNE OFF, FACT: The Force is the Voice, Tattoine is Dune, and etc. Wake up. Seriously. I can't believe that in this recession someone like you could remain employed. Take a cursory glance at Wikipedia for research, at least.
