The best we can say is that writer-director Wayne Kramer means well with "Crossing Over" - he means to put a human face on the unwieldy and divisive topic of illegal immigration.

Crash is an incredible movie, but the family that ownes the store is Persian, not from Iraq. The review, is not correct in mentioning the conflict between the locksmith and the store owner.
