I agree that it is well past the time when Jane's Vietnam-era political views should be forgotten. A multitude of people did some VERY extremist things to protest that awful war. They're not getting grief now because the're not famous. Jane is just trying to make a living. Let it go.

Those of us that served in that war cannot forget and forgive. Easy enough to say if you weren't involved. Any idiot that thinks the troops "lost" the war and deserved to be so poorly treated when we came home doesn't have a clue. Thankfully we have learned better and treat our current troops with the respect and admiration they deserve.
