In it's 19th season, Survivor is one of the longest running shows on television. It is certainly one of the longest running reality television shows. But the popularity of Survivor is fading.

sorry, but this show is still oddly riveting to me.
because it's devoid of the antics of all other "reality" shows.
mainly because there is no reality in them.
survivor is a contest.
american idol is a contest.
deal or no deal is a game show.
where is the "reality?"
but survivor is, at its core, just people dealing and competing with each other.
witnessing this display of human nature -- with jeff probst prodding them along -- is great entertainment -- and the past few seasons have been among the best ever.
love it!

Somewhat new to survivor, but I've noticed that Jeff seems to LOVE Coach.
