No actor could ever come near the
wonderful portrayal of Inspector
Clouseau that Peter Sellers did.
He WAS Inspector Clouseau. John Cleese is an accomplished
and talented actor. Steve Martin is a good actor but will
never have the talent that John
Cleese has. They should never have made any new versions of
the Pink Panther. Most sequels do fall flat and should be left
as a dusty manuscript on the top shelf of future flops.
