An associate producer for the forthcoming Terminator Salvation movie has defended Christian Bale's alleged on-set rant, insisting the actor was a "consummate professional" during filming.

Christian may be a professional, but it still doesn't matter, if you lose your temper and treat people like crap, then you are the loser. Take it from me, I have a temper too, and it never advanced me in any career until I learned enough humility to treat everybody with dignity. He could have just said, "Oh God, man you just blew my whole scene doing that, I need to start over." Then the other guy would have had to apologize to him rather then the other way around. oh please who hasn't lost their temper and ranted at someone? and he did not beat up his mother and sister he was arrested for VErBAL assualt if you get your facts right. Anyway i just think the whole thing is really funny it made me cry with laughter which i know it shouldn't but hey i dont care!

OK, for starters, I love how the rumors fly! Christian DID NOT BEAT UP HIS MOTHER AND SISTER...he was detained by the UK Authorities and released and no charges were pressed by the "Supposed Victims" his family.
Secondly, a person's private life is just THAT. PRIVATE.
He is and still continues to be a fine, professional, established actor who has the recognition and RESPECT of his peers.
As for this latest, RANT perhaps some Anger Therapy would do him well...I myself am AGAINST throwing "Meds" at Anger, AS IT DOESN'T DO ANY GOOD.
Nor, is it fair or just to "label" anyone, just because you don't feel like hearing their hurts, needs, wants or frustrations in life.

There's a pattern here, whether or not he "physically" assaulted his family. He certainly did something because the police were called.

And here he goes again, verbally assaulting a coworker. I don't see any sort of "professionalism" in that. As Lisa16 said, if any of us did that, we would likely get fired!

Well, Lisa that's why this is a free world and EVERYONE has a right to their opinion.
Just seems a tad sadistic to me.
We jump all over celebrities as if they are God's, they are human and have outbursts just like anyone else.
IT'S JUST THAT YOU HEAR ABOUT THEIR OUTBURSTS BECAUSE OF WHO THEY ARE.

I'm sure he's not the first actor, or that last, to blow up on set. I imagine it is a very stressful position. Still, I heard the audio...pretty mean. Then again, maybe he has had this problem before with the same person?? We NEVER know the full/real story when it comes to the stars.

Bale that made him lash out like that. I think it is disgusting and shows what small minds people have to try to tarnish his reputation. We all
