I have an ex that lives in Alaska now who saved my life and he's practically married but I call him now and then to always thank him and see how he is. Someone had broken into my car and we came upon them carrying my bag off with them in the parking lot. Well my bf chased him with his German Shepard & got stabbed 17 times. The kid was from a well-established and rich family and barely got prosecuted for Attempted Murder. He was a stranger to us and had just stolen the neighbors tools and was caught very easily but the charges didn't stick. My ex bf is lucky to survive. We are both lucky.

Kudos, Blues. Personal stories are hard to tell sometimes, but so many can benefit. There's nothing wrong with being friends, as long as the feeling is truly mutual.
