glad frank langella got nominated but bet he dont win and ledger should have got the nod for best actor ..his performance was something beyond acting...no one is ever going to forget it..the oscars are becoming boring..there is a place for good performances in big budget films as well as low budget high brow films we need all kinds of everything and Clint should have got the nod for Grand Torino..whats up hollywood..your in danger of being scrapped for not being relevent anymore..I'm fifty five and I can see it ..the writing is on the wall get with it or get lost in the milu of film awards vaying for supremecy in the awards buisness...the Golden Globes seem to be biting at your heels and so too the British Acadmy awards..Oscar is'nt what it used to be...anyone for a bit of 'Hope'.tonyl.

Heath Ledger: great
Christian Bale: blah
Aaron Eckhart: okay
Maggie Gyllenhaal: blah
Gary Oldman: seen much better from him
Michael Caine: great as usual
Overall: good story, great effects, Ledger's Joker was great and I absolutely loved this movie, but in reality, no it doesn't deserve a best pic nomination. Sorry. Get over it.
