ADELAIDE, Australia (AP) - Lance Armstrong said Sunday he has high hopes the presidency of Barack Obama will see health-care reform in the United States and more money for the fight against cancer.

I agree, most of us have hopes for AND wishes from President Elect Obama. I hope our wishes of peace and checks & balances and the economy are not overwhelming. He is extremely bright and capable. I hope his energy is strong. I and my family have MUCH faith in him too. And his wife Michelle!

True, mrslamb. Though I am a strong supporter of Obama, I know that actions speak louder than words and we will all have to wait and see. However, it would be hard for Obama to do worse than Bush.
