@Dutch48: That was my decision. I think fans of the show would enjoy reading the entire thing, because they are quite rabid. Casual fans, maybe not as much. But, again, that was my call.

I have only watched HIMYM 1 or 2x, but I will def now put it on the DVR as well.
This was a stellar interview that covered all bases, I can't think of anything else I would want to know or would have asked myself. I really like that you got into the NPH outting bit because I always found it funny that it was such a spectacle.

I feel like the girl at the end of that School House Rocks song that says, "Ahhh! That's the end?" GREAT interview! As a rabid fan of HIMYM I could (and would!) have read an article three times as long. I just love this show and I especially love the characters. You asked everything I would have. I've been curious about Sara Chalke's appearance and her abrupt departure and I've been a NHP fan since Doogie Howser. The epi they ended with Barney typing at his computer.... classic. I'm glad to hear JR speak such kind words about him. Barney is the best and worst of every guy I've ever dated all rolled up into one.

Great article! I never really watched this show until I saw you referencing it on your blog. I have a lot of catching up to do, but I really like what I've seen so far - and the interview was great insight to Josh's character. Thanks!

I really enjoyed the interview with Josh. It is so refreshing to see someone so passionate about the shows they are involved in. I felt the interview really made Josh a real person. Someone that I would want to hang out with and not just some star that is on a different level.

So I watched the Best Burger in NY episode online and I gotta say, this show is pretty damn funny. One thing that does bother me though is that as exact some references to NY may be, they make up the name of burger places and the bank. I thought they would have some real places I knew and could associate with. I will now go watch a few more episodes, but before I leave:

Great work. I am a casual fan of HIMYM, but I will admit the cast is incredibly likeable. I thought it was interesting that Josh and Cobie Smulders were cast before the more established actors NPH and Alyson Hannigan. He came off as a really nice guy and a true fan of his character and the show. Tough break about Star Wars, good guy but flawed, not unlike his character.
