ElfNot everybody shares the same affinity for "It's A Wonderful Life" or "Miracle on 34th Street." It could be the lack of color or the idealistic story. To some, those classics just don't feel real.

The Muppet Christmas Carol is the best version?
Please.
The Alastair Sim, George C. Scott and Albert Finney versions blow the muppets back to their respective fabric and ping-pong ball eye factories.

"This is the best" - bah!
Michael Caine pales in comparison as Scrooge to the three aforementioned actors. He was decent, but there was no human element as he was playing to a bunch of puppets, not people.
Sure, it's a great introduction to this classic masterpiece for kids, but sorry, "A Muppet Christmas Carol" is far from the best version.
Try watching the other versions sometime, it's obvious you haven't seen any.
You're obviously too young for "A Christmas Story," too. A classic take on Christmas that is as American as apple pie.

Boy are your values up in smoke!
It's a Wonderful life is old but
it is a Fantasy, lady, and well
done. For some reason it loses
its charm when they colorized it. Don't knock anyone's taste.
Some of the Froth they call reality and a fresh approach to
the Christmas movie are too real and as an additional comment keep your opinions to yourself and stop being so critical of the taste of those
who dream of a more traditional
Christmas. In these worrisome times going back to better years might be a good thing.
