I 100% agree! The movie was cheap and choppy. Granted fans did get to see their beloved Twilight come to life. I don't regret seeing the movie, I regret that the producer and script writer did almost nothing by the book. 90% was either added/changed, and only 10% was done by the book. People are so upset that the movie was a cheesy love story, but if they would take time out to read the book they would have realized that there was much more to the movie than mortal girl falls in love with the hot vampire. There is so much to the story line that was cut out. Chapter 13-14 were my favorites in Twilight, a.k.a the meadow scene, and it was a complete and utter disappointment in the movie. I don't understand how they downplayed that scene so much when it is so important. Not to mention the meadow is in every single book. You would think that would be an important scene. I don't know how they can make the next few books into movies, when the first obviously leads into them, and was not done correctly and I believe it will be difficult to get avid readers back into theatres. Hope the next movies actually go by the book.
