Ron Howard wanted to talk about the election, Obama and McCain. To do so, he decided to bring back his beloved characters from Happy Days and The Andy Griffith Show plus Henry Winkler and Andy Griffith to help him out.

Okay, I still watch Mayberry RFD everyday. I am 65 and still vote. Opie, Opie, Opie! Please tell me what the change is that you want.Just something different? Just so you will feel good about making all that money? How much will you give up of what you work so hard to earn above and beyond what you pay now? I retired and found out that I needed to go back to work. Guess what? I had to pay $4400 in taxes for 2007. I paid taxes on 85% of my ss and my new work? Well I made and additional $12000. So together I made around $24000 gross and if I only paid the fed tax it left me with 20K. But alas I have other taxes too. I will vote for another old guy. John McCain. Oh! I still am a fan, my daughters think I'm crazy too.

I like the ad.My comment is for jdstauffer..it seems you just dont get it..if you went through all of that with the old administration why would you want to continue??if you look in the mirror what do you have in common with McCain if its only the color of your skin then he is the wrong choice..do you realize if McCain never worked another day in his life he is RICH!With a vote for him get ready to continue working for the rest of your life!

I really thought that Ronny Howard was funny as Richard Cunningham and as Ope from the Andy Griffith show. i really enjoyed Fonzie too. He really convinced to vote for Obama.

Just like Colin Powell said: Obama is the "one" that can handle all the crisis out of both candidates. This is one of the most experienced and respected "war and defense" figures of all time. He even jumped ship to endorse Obama! A huge blow the the Rep. party. He saw the truth. If you can come out of your coma, you should also.

What ya'll don't seem to get is McCain may be old, YES, SO TRUE, however, he could live to be 105. No one is promised another day. Get your head out of the "old" zone and face the facts. Obama will lead this country to ruin. We need a leader that has experience, and John McCain and Sarah have what it takes. And I know they'll do a good job, because Obama will be exposed for what he is, a liar!

I am voting for Obama also because I am middle class and not rich or a CEO and McBush will tax the hell out of me and give himself and his rich oil friends tax breaks which makes no sense. Obama's tax plan will benefit me and 95% of america who are losing our homes and jobs while McBush/Pa-Lyin sit back and laugh because they dont have to worry about that. They have no idea what it is like not being rich so I cant trust someone that has not been there before. Our economy is dying and he wants to take our money, $10 billion a month, to protect Iraq. There are only two reasons anyone could possibly be voting for McSame and that would be racial prejudice or you're rich. I can't think of any other reason which is really scarry! I grew up in the Kennedy era and the same excitement was in the air back then (I wasn't old enough to vote though). Our country is in a downfall...we NEED OBAMA....vote for a HUGE CHANGE!
