Monday night the Metropolitan Museum of Art hosted its annual Costume Institute Gala, and many of Hollywood's top stars were there to be seen at the black-tie affair.

Few celebrities stood out amidst all the glitz & glamour, most of those for some very poor fashion choices, but there were a few diamonds in the rough.

Speaking of diamonds, "Diamonds" singer Rihanna dazzled on the red carpet, looking sexy as ever with a midriff and back-baring white dress by Stella McCartney.

The Bajan beauty's outfit left little to the imagination despite covering most of her body, showing off curves in all the right places and giving a peek at her Isis chest tattoo.

This year's event paid homage to the work of designer Charles James.

Unfortunately the singer couldn't post any selfies from the event (or in her sexy, butt-baring dress afterward) to her Instagram page because the social media site shut it down on Monday.

RiRi posted a shot of her bare backside from her recent pictorial in French men's magazine Lui, but the image went against the site's policy and her account was suspended. Several reports say that her page is back up, but we checked and it's not.
