Music mogul Simon Cowell is joining forces with his TV rival will.i.am to find the world's next technology giant.
The two stars faced off in a ratings war earlier this year, when Cowell's British version of The X Factor went head-to-head with the U.K.'s The Voice, which features will.i.am as a judge.
However, the pair is now putting the rivalry behind them in a bid to discover the next technology genius, according to Britain's The Sun newspaper.
The Black Eyed Peas hitmaker tells the publication, "We're working on a project called X Factor for Tech - and it's going to be out of this world. Singing and performance create a couple of jobs. But this will create lots."
The show will trawl the world looking for young people who can demonstrate their technological wizardry.
The rapper adds, "It's about getting in touch with youth and giving them a platform to express themselves - whether that's in science or mathematics... Simon's cool. We had a wicked dinner a couple of weeks ago (to discuss the show) and it was very nice."
