Sharon Osbourne has fired off a series of defensive tweets after Leah Remini implied the rock matriarch was to blame for the actress' dismissal from TV show "The Talk."
Remini stunned followers during a question-and-answer session on Twitter on Monday when she alleged Osbourne was behind her departure from the hit daytime show last year.
She told fans that Sharon thought she was "not funny" and "awkward," calling her and fellow co-host Holly Robinson Peete "ghetto." And, as followers tweeted their outrage, Remini added, "She (Osbourne) had us fired."
Osbourne took to her own Twitter page on Tuesday to respond to the allegations, insisting she has no control over contract renewals.
She wrote, "In response to Leah Remini's continuous comments that I had her fired from The Talk, let me just go on the record to say... I had absolutely nothing to do w (with) her departure from the show & have no idea why she continues to take to Twitter to spread this false gossip... Leah knows that I have never been in the position to hire or fire anyone on the show."
And the Brit admits she's desperate to end "all this negativity" and put the matter behind them once and for all.
She adds, "My only wish is that Leah would just stop all this negative, unprofessional, and childish behavior. It's been seven months. It's time to move on... Leah is a very talented actress and I only wish her happiness and success. I know that better things are to come if she can just get beyond all this negativity."
