Shania Twain has assured fans she is unhurt after taking a nasty fall onstage at the CMT Awards on Wednesday.
The singer was left red-faced when she lost her footing and tumbled to the ground as she presented Blake Shelton with a trophy at the Nashville, Tennessee ceremony.
The crowd applauded Twain after she picked herself up and, minutes after the accident, she filmed a video message to let her concerned devotees know she is OK.
In the clip, which she posted on her Twitter page, the flustered star says, "I just made a complete fool of myself and experienced one of life's most embarrassing moments. I don't need a stunt double. I didn't hurt myself. I have a bit of a sore thumb - that's it."
She went on to blame the accident on her high heels, insisting, "I'm gonna auction off those shoes. I'm gonna get rid of them as soon as I can. I never want to see those shoes again!"
Shania filmed a spoof of the Susan Sarandon/Geena Davis classic Thelma & Louise with fellow country superstar Taylor Swift to promote the CMT Awards.
